Citation and Industrial Design

Course Description: The course, "Quotation and Industrial Design" (DESI511), for second-level Master of Fashion Design students, is worth 2 credit hours. It covers the concept of quotation and the designer's work stages, analyzing the works of renowned fashion designers, studying the characteristics of different eras and modern art movements, as well as live and still life subjects, and the steps for deriving inspiration from them. It also includes training in industrial design.

Objectives of the course :

The course aims to study the concept of quoting and industrial design, with an analysis of the works of international fashion designers, in addition to studying various sources of inspiration (ancient civilizations - modern art schools - living and still nature), with training in drawing designs quoted from these sources and designing for industry.
