Advanced Textile Structures

Course Description: Advanced Textile Structures (DESI525), a 3-credit hour course for second-year Master's students in Fashion Design, covers simple textile structures and their derivatives, as well as execution methods for textile structures. It incorporates textile construction and altering the order of warp and weft colors to achieve different effects. Students will execute textile samples utilizing various structures and gain an understanding of the fundamentals of analyzing finished fabrics.

Objectives of the course :

The course aims to study and distinguish between simple textile structures and their derivatives, in addition to their implementation methods, combining textile structures with changing the arrangement of warp and weft colors to obtain different effects, and training in the analysis of processed fabrics. .
