Course Description: This course, DESI527, utilizes computers in decorative design and automated embroidery. It is offered to third-year Master's students in Fashion Design, has 2 credit hours, and provides an introduction to using computers in decorative design and automated embroidery. It covers the stages of ornamental design, preparing decorative designs for automated embroidery, and training on entering ornamental units into specialized computer software. It also includes processing these units, innovating decorative designs, coloring them, entering them into specialized computer software for automated embroidery, and processing them to be ready for insertion into the memory of automated embroidery machines, as well as preparing samples.

Objectives of the course :

This course aims to study the capabilities of computers in automated embroidery, starting from the stage of preparing decorative designs up to the stage of automated embroidery. It also covers the advanced capabilities of design and automated embroidery software that meet contemporary needs, with training on using specialized software for both stages, and preparing samples executed by automated embroidery machines.
