Course Description: The Research Seminar course (DESI533), offered at the first level of the Master's in Fashion Design program with 3 credit hours, covers selecting and formulating a research topic, choosing a research problem, writing the introduction, problem statement, and research questions, defining objectives and significance, defining terms and documenting previous studies, determining methodology and samples, the theoretical aspect of the research, procedural steps, research tools and their review by specialists, the practical aspect of the research, analyzing results, discussion, interpretation, abstract, and indexes.

Objectives of the course :

The course aims to introduce the student to how to formulate a research problem, with a focus on objectives and significance, using the appropriate research methodology, and following the procedural steps of scientific research, using suitable research tools to achieve objectives and reach results using appropriate statistical methods with interpretation.
