General Epidemiology

Course Description: This course provides an introduction and explanation of the principles and concepts of epidemiology. It will cover specific aspects of epidemiologic research design. Opportunities will be provided for students to understand sampling methods, disease causality, and the measurement of association between an exposure and an outcome. Errors, bias, and the impact of confounding will also be identified during research conduct.
