His Excellency the Head of State Security appreciates the efforts of His Excellency the President of the University in confronting extremist ideology

His Excellency, the Head of State Security, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Huwairini, appreciated the efforts of the university, represented by the Intellectual Awareness Unit, in supporting the path of confronting extremist thought, promoting the concept of moderation and tolerance, and spreading the values of tolerance and coexistence.

The head of state security praised these great efforts in a speech sent to His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, after reviewing the report of the University's “Intellectual Awareness Program: Loyalty and Belonging.”.

Al-Huwayrini said in his speech: “I was pleased to review the report that monitors the most important programs implemented by the university, represented by the unit, and the efforts made in this regard to support the journey of confronting extremist thought.” He offered thanks and appreciation, saying: “I ask God Almighty to bless your efforts, to benefit from you, and to guide you, and to sustain the security and stability of our nation under the wise leadership, hoping for you and all university affiliates more success and good fortune.”.
