LaunchKSA initiative runs for 4 months University hosts "Tuwaiq 1000" camp

The university, represented by the Alumni and Career Development Office, in cooperation with the Deanship of Human Resources Agency for Professional Development, is hosting the "Tuwaiq 1000" camp today, Sunday, 4/3/1443 AH. This camp is one of the largest tech camps and is part of the LaunchKSA initiative, launched by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, which will last for 4 months as the largest tech launch in the Middle East.

The university hosting the Tuwaiq 1000 camp stems from its national role and its academic, educational, and community mission to qualify the nation's youth and equip them with the necessary skills and capabilities. It also represents an advanced step toward investing the human intellect of young men and women to advance the nation globally and achieve the goals of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.

The three-month camp, hosted by the university and concluding with employment, aims to qualify young talents and cadres from computer science faculties in the Al-Qassim region in the latest technological fields. Students will be trained in advanced programming and artificial intelligence technologies by experts from the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, in collaboration with Google.
