The Clinical Simulation Center at Qassim University Medical City has achieved a qualitative milestone by obtaining full accreditation from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH), one of the highest global accreditations specializing in this field. This comes after the center met the international standards for quality, training, and outcome efficiency.
This achievement is an extension of the university's efforts to achieve one of its strategic goals, a culmination of its development plans within the Medical City, and reflects its commitment to providing educational and training services in the health field according to the best international standards, which contributes to preparing qualified graduates capable of keeping pace with the needs of the labor market and participating in the advancement of the healthcare system at the regional and national levels.
The center's accreditation is a significant step towards enhancing the quality of education and clinical training, as it will directly contribute to raising the readiness of healthcare professionals and qualifying students and trainees from various medical and health disciplines, through an advanced educational environment that focuses on developing clinical skills, decision-making, and teamwork in a safe environment that simulates practical reality.
It is mentioned that the Clinical Simulation Center at the University Medical City has also obtained two accreditations from the American Heart Association (AHA), which enhances the reliability of its specialized CPR training programs and confirms its ability to provide globally accredited programs for qualifying healthcare practitioners and improving their efficiency.
