His Excellency the President of the University sponsors the closing ceremony of the eighth summer club

His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharaikh, sponsored last Wednesday evening, August 13, 2025, the closing ceremony of the Eighth Summer Club. The club was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs over 4 weeks, during which more than 470 activities were presented across 11 tracks. A total of 45,053 beneficiaries, both male and female, from in-person and virtual programs benefited from these activities. The ceremony was attended by Their Excellencies the Vice Presidents, members of the University Council, its affiliates, and the participants' families at the Olympic Sports Complex in the university city.

The university president praised the club for the distinguished programs and events it presented, which significantly contributed to developing students' skills and refining their talents at various educational levels. These combined scientific and cultural enrichment with physical activity for different age groups. He stressed that these efforts reflect the university's pioneering societal role in developing the skills and knowledge of the region's youth and investing their time during the summer break. He also highlighted the optimal utilization of students' time in both general and university education. He prayed to God Almighty to grant them success in serving their religion, leadership, and homeland.

During the ceremony, the university president and attendees watched a video about the eighth summer club, which included 11 tracks: the national and intellectual security track, the skills track, the entrepreneurial and innovative track, the educational track, the recreational track, the technical track, the social and community track, the competitive track, the cultural and linguistic track, the sports track, and the artistic and creative track. These were presented to several categories, including summer club participants, the university students' hobbies program, the "Kingdom of Giving" program for international students, and the "Horizon" program for virtual programs. Over 100 participants presented these programs, with 1246 in-person beneficiaries and 43,807 virtual beneficiaries.

This club is launched based on Saudi Vision 2030, and out of Qassim University's belief in implementing the programs of its strategic plan to support youth and guide their talents and minds to serve their future and the future of this giving nation, and to preserve and invest their time in a way that brings them benefit and advantage.
