His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharikh, sponsored on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, the Eid al-Adha greeting ceremony organized by the Public Relations and Beneficiary Services Department, in the presence of university vice presidents and staff, at the main lobby of the university city.
On this occasion, His Excellency extended congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them both – and to all university staff, asking God Almighty to bring back this blessed occasion to the Kingdom as it enjoys security, stability, and prosperity.
His Excellency affirmed that the distinguished success achieved in this year's Hajj season embodies the care and direct attention that the wise leadership – may God protect it – gives to the Hajj system, and the integrated resources and services it has provided, which have contributed to the comfort and safety of the guests of the Most Gracious, and enabled them to perform their rituals with ease and tranquility.
The university president praised the participation of over 225 male and female student volunteers from the university in the health, veterinary, and scouting tracks, emphasizing that their achievements, including the university's scouts winning 40 excellence medals and securing seven advanced positions, reflect the university's success in promoting the values of social responsibility and volunteerism among its students, and their effective contribution to serving the nation and society.
He also praised the participation of 98 specialists and volunteers from the College of Veterinary Medicine and the Veterinary Hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's project to benefit from sacrificial offerings, and the honorable example they set of national competence and the spirit of volunteerism in serving the pilgrims.
His Excellency noted the «Yasir Program for International Student Hajj,» which enabled more than 131 male and female students from 41 countries to perform the Hajj pilgrimage. He stressed that the program embodies the university's interest in its international students and reflects the Kingdom's humanitarian and Islamic message. The participants represent ambassadors who will convey to their home countries the bright image of the services and care provided by the Kingdom to the pilgrims.
