His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, received in his office at the Emirate Diwan in the city of Buraidah, the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharikh. His Highness was briefed on the university's most prominent educational and research programs and initiatives.
His Highness listened during the reception to an explanation of the academic and developmental programs being implemented by the university, and the qualitative tracks they include that contribute to qualifying national competencies, enhancing the quality of educational outcomes, and supporting scientific research and innovation.
His Highness the Prince of Al-Qassim Region emphasized the importance of the university's role in building and developing human capabilities, pointing out that developing educational programs and linking them to the needs of the labor market is a fundamental pillar in achieving sustainable development.
His Highness also praised the university's efforts in supporting and empowering students, and enhancing the teaching and learning environment, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and contributing to the preparation of a qualified generation capable of competing.
