His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharikh, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research in South Africa (CSIR), Dr. Thulani Dlamini, signed an executive program agreement between the university and the council in the field of scientific research and innovation, in the presence of the university vice presidents at the university city.
The project aims to cooperate on research, development, and innovation projects in advanced prioritized technologies for both parties. This includes the exchange of researchers and experts in areas of common interest, particularly in space and defense, and activating the \u201cSpace and Defense Research Program\u201d as a main platform for joint research and innovation activities. Furthermore, it aims to cooperate on human capacity-building programs and training technical and research personnel, as well as collaboration in technology transfer and commercial marketing of research and industrial outputs. The project also seeks mutual utilization of research facilities and scientific data to serve joint projects, joint supervision of postgraduate students, and support for academic and training programs.<\/p><\/p>
