The university, represented by the Integrity Student Club at the Deanship of Student Affairs, in cooperation with the Control and Anti-Corruption Authority “Nazaha,” organized a remote meeting on Monday, 8/24/1442 AH, titled “Combating Corruption and Promoting Integrity Values in the Workplace.” The meeting was presented by Mr. Fahad bin Mohammed Al-Zayed, Director-General of the Control and Anti-Corruption Authority's branch in the Hail region. He discussed ways to promote the values of integrity and honesty, methods for combating corruption, procedures for detecting corruption, and the state's efforts to reduce financial and administrative corruption.
“Al-Zayed” also reviewed the general concepts of integrity and types of transparency, and all individual, social, national, and educational values, and touched on corruption practices and supervisory bodies, and mechanisms for promoting integrity values and combating corruption. Then, he presented the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince – may God protect them – in combating corruption, as well as the achievements and awards obtained by the Authority of Control and Anti-Corruption.
The university, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, focuses on organizing such meetings that reflect the university's societal role in promoting integrity and combating corruption in all its forms and manifestations. The university gives great importance to this matter, under the direction of His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Dawood, who supports and provides all the needs of the Deanship to move forward with integrity courses, in order to overcome the negative phenomena that all countries of the world suffer from and seek to combat. It aims to create an environment of integrity that contributes to the success of comprehensive development in all fields, confronts corruption, and instills the values of integrity.
