On Sunday morning, 22 Shawwal 1446 AH, the university launched the activities of the sixth edition of the comprehensive campaign “Awareness, Health, and Education” in Al-Nabhaniyah Governorate, under the kind patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region. This initiative falls within the university's community roles and national mission. The campaign aims to provide integrated health, awareness, and educational services to the residents of the governorate and its affiliated centers and villages, which are located over 100 kilometers from the university's main campus.
The campaign lasts for five days and includes more than 300 diverse programs held at the Civil Center in Al-Nabhaniyah Governorate, in addition to external events that include a number of schools, mosques, and villages within the governorate's scope. These programs target various segments of society from all age groups.
On his part, His Excellency the Vice President of the University for Business Development and Community Partnership, and Chairman of the Campaign's Executive Committee, Dr. Majed bin Fadhi Al-Enezi, explained that the university aims through this comprehensive campaign to deliver its diverse services and programs to the people of the Qassim region in their locations. He pointed out that this campaign is an extension of a series of previous campaigns implemented by the university in a number of governorates in the region, which benefited more than 125,000 people.
Al-Anzi explained that more than 600 university staff and volunteer students are participating in the implementation of this year's programs. They will provide various services in different fields, including religious, health, nutritional, and training programs. The campaign will also offer a wide range of programs and services that include educational, national, and skill-based aspects, in addition to medical clinics run by a group of university consultants in various specialties. Furthermore, there will be veterinary clinics, and recreational and sports activities. Field events will also be held in several locations, including schools, mosques, large mosques, the livestock market, and other sites in the governorate.
