The University organizes the "Fifth Annual Forum for Nazaha Clubs Affiliates"

On Monday and Tuesday, December 4-5, 2023, the university organized the «5th Annual Forum for Integrity Club Members» in educational institutions. The forum was held in cooperation with the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority and under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Qassim Region. The forum's activities were inaugurated by His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Fawzan, Director of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority Branch in Qassim, His Excellency Dr. Fahd bin Suleiman Al-Ahmad, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Mr. Mohammed bin Mansour bin Lou'ay, Director of the Seminars and Conferences Department at the Authority, at the main lobby in the university city.

 

 

His Excellency the President of the University also opened the accompanying exhibition of the forum's activities, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, with the participation of 20 universities and civil and military colleges. The exhibition contained 18 booths, where the clubs in the educational institutions showcased their work and achievements, reflecting their commitment to spreading and fostering a culture of integrity and combating corruption in all its forms. The exhibition is considered an opportunity for visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the efforts of integrity clubs in the participating universities and institutions.

 

The forum witnessed a series of dialogue sessions aimed at discussing ways to promote a culture of combating corruption and strengthening integrity practices in educational institutions. Participants also exchanged ideas and experiences, and reviewed the most important achievements and challenges in this field.

 

 

For his part, the director of the branch of the Supervisory Authority and Anti-Corruption in the region expressed his thanks and appreciation for the university's efforts in organizing this annual forum for the affiliates of Integrity Clubs in educational institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This year's forum was held under the theme: "Digital Transformation and its Role in Promoting Integrity and Combating Corruption," and discussed topics of interest to Integrity Clubs related to digital transformation, and the extent to which clubs benefit from this transformation in innovation and creativity, and leveraging technology and digitalization to enhance their role and methods in awareness activities and programs, as well as facilitating their work to achieve their noble goals in spreading and promoting the values of integrity and combating corruption within educational institutions. This is in addition to reviewing experiences and initiatives and discussing ways of development, which is confirmed by the comprehensive government support for the digital transformation process in the Kingdom by working to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. .

 

 

Next, the Dean of Student Affairs at the university, Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Ajlan, spoke about his happiness with the success of the forum. He praised the efforts made by the participating bodies and clubs to ensure the forum's success. He emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of integrity and transparency within the university community and the commitment to supporting integrity clubs in achieving their goals. He stated that this event reflects the university's commitment to promoting integrity values, combating corruption, and reinforcing a positive transformation towards building a university generation that possesses responsibility and ethics.

 

 

The forum held a dialogue session within its activities titled «Integrity and Responsibility in the Era of Digital Transformation in Educational Institutions,» and a session titled «Student Experiences in Activating Technology to Enhance Integrity and Combat Corruption,» in the presence of representatives from the participating universities and educational institutions.
