Eleven governmental and specialized bodies participated in the “National Forum for Crowd Management,” organized by the Emirate of Al-Qassim Region in cooperation with Qassim University. The forum was patronized by His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, and was held yesterday, Wednesday, April 15, 2026. The forum aimed to showcase national successes in crowd management and the latest technologies to enhance readiness for hosting major events, at the King Abdulaziz Conferences Center.
The accompanying exhibition of the forum hosted various pavilions from participating entities, including: the Emirate of Al-Qassim Region, the Digital Library of Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal, Qassim University, the General Authority for the Care of Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, the Ministry of Health Branch in Al-Qassim Region, the General Authority for Public Health “Weqaya“, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, and other entities. The forum comes to highlight this vital field, and to affirm the Kingdom's leading role in it, especially in light of its preparations to host major events, most notably the 2027 AFC Asian Cup, Expo 2030 Riyadh, and the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
