The university signed a cooperation agreement with the National Center for E-learning today, Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in the presence of His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharikh. The agreement aims to enhance partnership in the field of research, development, and innovation in e-learning. The agreement was signed on behalf of the university by His Excellency the Vice President for Business Development and Community Partnership, Dr. Majid bin Fidi Al-Enezi, alongside the Deputy Director General for Governance and Excellence Sector at the Center, Professor Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Shuwaiher, at the main headquarters in the university city.
This agreement aims to support the strategic directions of digital education and activate institutional and open innovation practices, as well as enhance the digital education institutional innovation ecosystem, and support and enable promising AI solutions in digital education through the digital education AI sandbox, applicable technological solutions, and transforming joint research outcomes into prototypes.
The agreement also aims to build the capacity of education workers in the fields of innovation and emerging technologies, activate open innovation mechanisms to deal with common challenges, and support the accelerated adoption of innovative solutions.
