The students, numbering over 220 participants from the Colleges of Health Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, and the University's Boy Scouts, as well as their supervisors, were present, along with the Vice President for Academic Affairs, in the main foyer of the university city.

His Excellency the President of the University welcomed the student volunteers, emphasizing that their participation in the Hajj season represents a rich national and humanitarian experience that contributes to building their character and enhancing their sense of responsibility, in addition to developing their practical skills.

His Excellency, the President of the University, explained that our wise leadership, headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz - may God protect them - harness all capabilities to serve the pilgrims to the Sacred House of God and provide them with all facilitations and services that enable them to perform the pilgrimage in security and tranquility from their arrival in the Holy Land until their return to their countries.

He pointed out that serving the guests of Allah is a great honor, and that the volunteer represents their religion, homeland, family, and university in front of pilgrims who have come from various countries around the world, which requires patience, wisdom, good manners, and initiative.

His Excellency affirmed that volunteer work is a noble human and religious value, and a form of worship, due to the meanings of giving, benevolence, and sincere service to others it carries. He explained that volunteer work is within the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in building a vibrant society and promoting community participation, pointing to the Kingdom's achievement of reaching the target of one million volunteers six years ahead of schedule.

His Excellency the President of the University expressed his gratitude to the male and female students for their distinguished efforts during the past period, their active participation in various university events, and the professional work they demonstrated that earned everyone's praise. He emphasized that the true impact of volunteer work is not measured by the number of hours, but by the positive image and humanitarian impact that the volunteer leaves on the pilgrims.
