The university president chairs the meeting of the Standing Committee for Supervision and Partnership of the Applied College.

His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharaikh, chaired on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, a meeting of the Standing Committee for Supervision and Partnership of the College of Applied Studies. The meeting discussed a number of topics, most notably the final report of the 2020-2025 Strategic Plan, and a report on the college's partnerships with the public and private sectors. The meeting was attended by the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the members of the Standing Committee, at the main campus in the university city.

The meeting reviewed the admission numbers and targeted programs for the upcoming academic year, which contribute to enhancing the college's outputs and aligning them with the needs of the labor market.

During the meeting, His Excellency the President of the University valued the efforts of the Applied College in developing its academic and professional programs and strengthening its partnerships with various public and private sector entities, which contributes to improving the efficiency of outputs and achieving the university's strategic goals. He emphasized the importance of continuing to work on developing qualitative initiatives that support the quality of education and training and meet the requirements of national development and Saudi Vision 2030.
