The University of Qassim, in partnership with the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language, is holding the Arabic Language and Strengthening Saudi National Identity Conference tomorrow, Wednesday, April 30, 2025. The conference is held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region. The accompanying exhibition will run for two days, Wednesday and Thursday, with the participation of a number of entities, at the Conference Center in the university city.

The conference aims to highlight the role of the Arabic language in strengthening Saudi national identity, discuss the challenges facing the Arabic language in the Kingdom, showcase global experiences in strengthening national languages, and propose initiatives and projects that promote the Arabic language and its roles in development and identity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The conference includes several scientific sessions that discuss a number of axes, including: the role of governmental and non-governmental bodies in strengthening linguistic identity, language policies and their impact on national identity, as well as the issue of linguistic security and threats to empowering the Arabic language, in addition to reviewing linguistic experiences in strengthening national identity.

The exhibition accompanying the conference includes several booths to highlight efforts and initiatives in promoting the Arabic language and connecting it to identity, with the participation of a number of entities.
