His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, received His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharkh, at his office at the Governorate headquarters.
During the reception, His Highness the Emir of Qassim Region received the report of the National Forum on Crowd Management, which was organized by the Emirate of Qassim Region in cooperation with Qassim University. The forum was held in mid-April at the King Abdulaziz Conference Center at Qassim University, with the participation of a number of specialists, experts, and relevant authorities.
His Highness reviewed the report's scientific axes, recommendations, and outcomes, which covered the latest practices and experiences in crowd management, and ways to develop readiness and integration among entities, contributing to enhancing organizational efficiency and raising safety levels in major events and occasions.
His Highness the Emir of Al-Qassim Region affirmed that the Kingdom has become a global model in crowd management, thanks to God, then to the support and directives of the wise leadership – may God support them – and the resources and capabilities they provided, which contributed to achieving high levels of professionalism and efficiency.
His Highness said:
“We praise God and thank Him for the success of the National Crowd Management Forum, which was recently hosted by Qassim University; to highlight the Kingdom's efforts and excellence in this field with high professionalism and expertise, under the guidance of our wise leadership - may God protect them.
As His Highness the Prince of Qassim region said:
“I express my thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the Qassim University administration and the team of academic and administrative colleagues who worked with full efficiency to make this forum a success, and to come up with useful recommendations that will be benefited from by the relevant authorities.
His Highness noted the support and attention that the education and scientific research sector receives from the wise leadership (may God support them), praising the ongoing cooperation between the Emirate of the region and Qassim University in organizing distinguished national forums that contribute to the exchange of expertise and the enhancement of specialized knowledge.
On his part, His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharikh, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Governor of Qassim Region for his support and interest in scientific and knowledge initiatives, stressing the university's keenness to continue its cooperation with various entities to achieve national development goals and serve the community.
