His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Bayari, witnessed the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Qassim University and the Ministry of Defense. The memorandum was signed by His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharikh, and His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense for Professional Excellence Services, Eng. Mohammed bin Faisal bin Muammar.

The memorandum aims to exchange expertise, apply best practices in education and training, and cooperate in developing the ministry's human capital, at the Armed Forces Officers Club in Riyadh.

Areas of cooperation included academic and training programs, scientific, research, and technical consultations, as well as electronic educational and training solutions, in addition to developing academic programs, human capacity building, scientific seminars and lectures, and dispatching and scholarships.
