His Excellency the President of the University inaugurates the Badinah Day Exhibition on the occasion of Foundation Day

His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Shariqu, opened the «Yom Baydina» exhibition on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, on the occasion of the Founding Day anniversary. The exhibition, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, features 41 booths covering the establishment and history of the Kingdom, and includes a number of heritage artifacts, tools, and handicrafts with the participation of university students. The opening was attended by the university's vice presidents in the main lobby of the university city.

The exhibition featured several sections dedicated to the imams and kings of this country, in addition to showcasing heritage artifacts and tools such as Saudi coffee-making utensils, traditional weapons, and attire. The exhibition also included handicrafts like Al Sadu weaving, palm frond weaving, old carpentry, architecture, and carvings, as well as natural environmental components such as gazelles, falcons, and wild plants.

The university held several events on the occasion of Founding Day and was adorned in green in celebration of this national occasion. Today, Wednesday, it is holding a lecture titled «A Nation's Story and the Making of Glory» in the open-air theater at the main campus.
