The Emir of Al-Qassim receives a report on the university's participation in the Hajj season of 1447 AH

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, received the report on Qassim University's participation in the Hajj season of 1447 AH, from the university's President, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Shalkh, during His Highness's reception of those participating in serving the pilgrims. .

His Highness the Emir of the region praised the efforts of the National University of Qassim and its contribution to achieving the Kingdom's objectives in serving the guests of God, commending the university's hosting of the National Forum for Crowd Management, which preceded the Hajj season with the participation of governmental and volunteer entities. The forum presented solutions and proposals to improve the crowd management process in major events. He expressed his pride in what the university's scouts achieved by winning 40 excellence medals out of 100, in addition to securing seven distinguished positions among 28 participating entities within the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association.

During the meeting, His Highness the Prince of the region reviewed the report which included the university students' registration of 27,360 volunteer hours during their participation in this year's Hajj season, and their contribution to serving the pilgrims of the Most Gracious Allah over 10 days, through three main tracks: 8,160 volunteer hours in the ranger track, 7,440 volunteer hours in the health track, and 11,760 volunteer hours in the veterinary services track for sacrificial animals.

where 68 university scouts participated in carrying out a number of field tasks, most notably guiding pilgrims within the holy sites and facilitating their movement, in addition to conducting field surveys of Hajj campaigns, which contributes to raising the efficiency of services provided to the guests of God.

In the field of veterinary services, 98 male and female volunteers from the College of Veterinary Medicine and the Veterinary Hospital participated in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Hady and Adahi Utilization Project. They were responsible for inspecting the sacrificial animals and ensuring they met health standards, in addition to providing specialized veterinary services to ensure the safety of operations related to the project.

For his part, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharikh, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership - may God protect them - for dedicating all the Kingdom's resources to serving the guests of Allah.
